Description

This internship will provide you with learning opportunities in a fast-paced multi-national company. The mission of the customer service intern will be to support the South East Asia customer service team in daily operations, order management, process improvements and projects, whilst at the same time learning how to use SAP and other supply chain tools. 

 

Purpose

To support the SEA Customer service team

  • This job provides learning opportunities to develop you supply chain skills, especially in the order management processes and with the use of SAP
  • The candidate will learn analytical and reporting skills, including order & shipment tracking, daily & monthly sales reporting.
  • He / she is required to support the SEA Customer Service team in various process improvement and system automation initiatives
  • The candidate will support projects with guidance from the manager to ensure maximum learning is acquired throughout the internship.

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations – support CS team with daily order entry into SAP with accuracy, creating order allocations, sending orders to warehouse for Pick-Packing / liaising with finance for credit limit order releasing
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting – support CS team on various reports, including Daily Sales, Month End Closing etc
  • Projects – work on system and process improvements through automation, system enhancements, Excel enhancements

 

Requirements

  • Able to commit for at least 6 months for a full-time internship
  • Undergraduates from any field is welcome
  • Collaborative, proactive, creative & independent.
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills
  • Well-versed with Microsoft Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint
  • Good command of both spoken & written English
  • Interest in supply chain & operations
