Localization Project Manager

Description
-
Serve as liaison between the firm and clients
-
Develop project plans, that include cost and timeline estimates, for each incoming project
-
Co-operating with in-house and freelance staff of translators, editors, and DTP department
-
Prepare quote for offline files such as but not limited to; translation, formatting
-
Receive and assign projects to translators and editors
-
Communicate on a daily basis with translation team to offer technical and language support
-
Log relevant complaints related to translation and/or formatting
-
Ensure timely delivery of projects
-
Perform data entry and invoicing
-
Provides the translation team all the necessary tools (i.e. MemoQ training, glossaries, and guidelines to follow)

Ideally, candidate would possess the following skills:

Responsibilities
-
5+ years of project management and/or translation/localization experience
-
Bilingual (two or more languages) preferred

Associate’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Project Management, Translation, or Language Related field
-
Experience in E-learning, Audiovisual, and/or Financial Sectors is a big plus!
