Description
- The primary responsibility of this role is to develop, support and manage the customer engagement program for Personal Banking customers (Credit Cards, Personal Loans & Mortgages). This includes managing HSBC’s E-communications Channels (Email/ SMS) and Webpages.
- Core to the role will be developing, executing, reporting and optimization of campaigns and creatives.
- The role holder is accountable to the Marketing Lead for Personal Banking and charged with assisting the business team in achieving their vision and objectives through marketing activity.
- This role offers the opportunity to create and refine data driven customer engagement programs focused on increasing activation, usage, engagement and retention to deliver the ideal customer experience and drive business outcomes.
- This role is integral to the successful and efficient running of the digital marketing operations, encompassing a broad range of technical, customer, and support service functions. As a channel owner, you will work and support multiple internal and external stakeholders, as well as other marketing managers with executing digital marketing campaigns and initiatives to drive business outcomes.
- Manage, develop and optimise HSBC Australia’s customer engagement program across a range of products and propositions. This includes:
- Onboarding communications
- Engagement communications to drive activation, usage, retention and multi-product take-up
- Develop and support the International proposition - from strategy, planning, through to implementation, results tracking and optimisation.
- Work with stakeholders and agencies to design and create customer centric marketing collateral with a focus on copywriting for email, SMS and web.
- Manage marketing budget to ensure costs are within plan and return on marketing investment is maximised. Ensure accurate monitoring and reporting of all marketing costs and campaign results
Responsibilities
- Proven experience in managing Email and SMS marketing campaigns.
- Strong verbal and copywriting skills.
- Understand the use of data and analytics in deriving customer value.
- Strong understanding of digital channels across paid and owned media.
- Experience in managing 3rd party relationships (Including media and creative agencies).
- Be passionate about the customer and be obsessed with customer outcomes.
- Degree level qualification in marketing and/or business studies preferred, and have a penchant for continuous learning.
- Minimum 4+ years of marketing experience (ideally within a Financial Service based institution, or an innovative customer/service based institution).
- Proven understanding of customer insights and their role in marketing strategy development and delivery as well as marketing communications development.
- Experience with web and marketing tagging development to assist with ongoing marketing performance tracking and maintenance.
