Associate - Asset Management - Infrastructure Equity, Real Assets - London

Description

  • Managing our assets under management to ensure optimal performance for our clients;
  • Working closely with senior colleagues responsible for overall asset management;
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders (service providers, Infra Equity Senior staff, Portfolio Manager and investors);
  • Work within the wider team to support peers and senior members in alignment with the team’s goals and objectives;
  • Assisting in post-acquisition investment management activities to ensure compliance with fund/mandate documents;
  • Work with complex multi-disciplinary transactions that need a very detailed level of analysis and require an understanding of a range of technical, financial and legal investment considerations;
  • Involvement with Asset Management activities across a range of sectors including monitoring and seeking approval of payments, management of MSA providers and analytical review of asset performance;
  • Managing valuation process for assets
  • Support governance and oversight of portfolio assets by providing technical and commercial analysis;
  • Drive asset optimisation strategies and opportunities;
  • Working with service providers, and internal stakeholders, to ensure projects are appropriately manged;
  • Highlight risk events or performance outside of forecast to the Asset Management Team and service providers where required;
  • Management and monitoring of asset data and related information and systems;
  • Contribute to reporting on assets with timely, balanced information – considering risks and opportunities and impacts over the life of an asset;
  • Ability to present asset performance to internal credit and risk colleagues and external investors; and
  • Operate in accordance with the risk and governance framework.

Responsibilities

  • Relevant prior experience allowing a good understanding of financial models and legal project, corporate and financial documentation;
  • Specific knowledge of the technical and commercial aspects of the infrastructure market;
  • Ability to interface and work with partners, sub-contractors and service providers;
  • Good understanding of financial statements;
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex commercial, contractual and financial challenges that affect a project; 
  • Good organisational skills, ability to manage priorities and deliver multiple projects in a fast pace environment under time-based pressure; and
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and work well as a team
  • Degree level and/or masters academic qualification
  • Proficiency in European languages is a benefit.
