IT Strategic Data Analyst

Description

  • Provide thought leadership and data-driven insights for IT and business stakeholders by focusing on measurement and tracking of business value  
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and insight goals 
  • Identify relevant KPIs and diagnostics to pursue 
  • Analyze data and provide insights to drive better informed tactical improvements and strategic decisions 
  • Prepare and present compelling analytical presentations and effectively communicate complex concepts to IT and business stakeholders 
  • Monitor performance targets and quality standards, and take remediation action if necessary 
  • Develop a plan for data governance and validation within core reports, KPIs, and metrics 

Responsibilities

  • 3+ years of experience in report building and performance analytics 
  • 3+ years of experience in predictive intelligence and/or data science (machine learning / AI) 
  • 2+ years of experience working with a BI tool (Power BI preferred)  
  • Ability to visualize data for varying audience levels  
  • Knowledge in querying languages and how to build complex queries 
  • Understanding of Javascript to support development of data collection jobs and advanced dashboards 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, look-up formulas) and Powerpoint  
  • Preferred: Experience with ServiceNow reporting, including Performance Analytics Premium 
  • Preferred: Knowledgeable in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), SSDL, and SDLC 
  • Preferred: Experience and/or certification in ITIL 4 Foundation 
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in quantitative discipline (business, statistics, economics, engineering, informatics, or an IT related field) 
  • Build and maintain constructive relationships with IT practices and business units based on mutual trust and respect 
  • Know the Lexmark business units’ functions and understand how decisions are made  
  • Present a sharp vision of what can realistically be achieved, and deliver on commitments 
  • Be persuasive and influential in presenting plans and ideas 
  • Demonstrate advanced written and verbal communication skills
