Translation Project Manager (very important client)

Description

  • Coordination with the freelance translation team – Delegating tasks and responsibilities to the appropriate teams.
  • Effective communication of the project scope and expectations to team members and vendors in a timely, clear, and respectful fashion throughout the entire project cycle.
  • Managing, executing and finalizing translation projects according to deadlines and budget requirements. (Planning, management of execution and control).
  • Keep in touch with external and internal stakeholders - providing client support throughout the duration of the project.
  • Performing linguistic quality assurance tasks
  • Being able to work autonomously and as part of an internaltional team in several timezones.
  • Terminology Management/Glossary management
  • Administration support to team members

Responsibilities

  • Third level education in Project Management or Translation studies or equivalent experience in the localisation industry
  • Excellent prioritization skills and attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Eligibility to work in Cork, Ireland or Barcelona.
  • Availability to join our team immediately
  • Degree in Translations Studies.
  • Translation/proofreading experience
  • Fluency in other languages
  • Familiarity with translation tools
