Description
· Supporting the entire testing life cycle (ST & SIT) starting from reviewing requirements, test case creation, test execution and test reporting including test data preparation and test environment management.
· Derive/maintain test cases from given requirements provided in written or oral format.
· Executing existing manual regression test cases.
· Provide support and guidance to business testers especially in the UAT phase.
· Administrative support for Release- and Test Management.
· Escalate issues to PM and/or line management.
· Collaborate with different stakeholders in the company and vendors to help troubleshoot issues.
· Wear multiple hats on other disciplines such as process excellence and risk management.
Responsibilities
· 2 years of hands-on experience in writing and executing manual test cases, including the reporting of defects, preferably within Investment Banking or Financial Services.
· First steps in Test Management.
· Understanding the different test methods and when they are applied.
· Understanding of the fundamental test process.
· Basic understanding of financial services and processes.
· High affinity to IT.
· Basic understanding of IT infrastructures in general (e.g. VPN, HTTPS etc.)
· Experience with JIRA or with similar tools (e.g. ALM, Gitlab etc.)
· Previous experience in financial services with testing of business processes and/or products.
· Communicate findings in technical and/or business writing formats and share those findings with different stakeholders across seniority levels.
· Feels comfortable working in small- multifunctional teams.
· Willing to travel overseas upon request.
· Basic understanding of DLT and cryptocurrencies.
· Experience in test automation.
· Experience with mobile testing (Android & iOS).
· Experience in testing in a very dynamic and fast-changing environment.
· Knowledge of XRAY and Confluence is a strong plus.
· Continuous improvement mindset along with skills in process design.
· Self-driven and detail-oriented with an analytical mindset.
· Ability to handle multiple independent test events in parallel.
· Proactive and quick learner; a team player showing enthusiasm and drive to accomplish results in a fast-paced environment.
