Description

Warehouse management: organizing an effective and efficient warehouse system that facilitates timely and high-quality dispatch processes (e.g. traceability, batch management, accuracy).

Packing logistics: supervising the processes that allow products to be shipped in a way that they will arrive at the customer safely.

Delivery logistics: making sure all deliveries are done in full (own and 3rd party logistics), in excellent state, within the projected time window communicated to the customer (especially frozen and fresh products).

The candidate is tech savvy and sees the benefit in automating and standardizing processes (ERP experience in food handling required).

The candidate has a photographic memory on what is happening during operations.

The candidate keeps oversight on what is happening in the business and what needs to happen.

The candidate is a strong and inspiring leader, is able to increase process compliance and is able to grow the team.

The candidate always takes responsibility for the operations, even when he/she is not present.

The candidate is open in giving feedback and telling matters how they are, even when conversations are difficult.

The candidate gives timely and high-quality reports on what is really happening in the business and root cause analyses and corrective actions on when something went wrong.

The candidate independently drives improvement agenda within the business and needs to be able to think out of the box to solve logistics challenges we are facing.

The candidate can easily underpin operational decisions with its financial impact and drives cost efficiency.

Bachelor’s or Master’s level.

This is a senior role with a seat at the management team, so the candidate should be comfortable giving high-quality presentations to management and investors.

We value mindset over experience, but a typical candidate should have around 10 years of relevant experience.

Previous logistics management experience in food handling.

Experienced in leading larger teams.

Comfortable in working with ERPs.

Strong analytical mindset and Excel skills.

Strong project management skills.

Experience with LEAN or similar methodologies.
