Description
- Designing and building relational data models across various schemes and business scenarios.
- Knowledge and working familiarity with star and snowflake schemes are required.
- Designing and developing dashboards in Microsoft Power BI (and/or Qlik, Tableau).
- Facility with the M and DAX Power BI languages is required.
- Reporting to engagement managers and/or solution architects under a hybrid agile project management methodology.
- Coordinating tasks independently and in conjunction with engagement leads and firm executives.
- Tracking time and creating tasks in project management tools (experience with Jira, MS DevOps, PIE, or similar is strongly preferred).
- Ability to excel independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic startup environment.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.
- An outcome-centric approach to collaborative and independent work.
- Interest in joining a dynamic, rapidly growing consultancy.
Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering, BIS, statistics, computer science).
- 3+ years' experience with Microsoft Power BI (additional experience in Tableau and/or Qlik is a plus).
- 3+ years experience with SQL and relational data modeling (specifically for OLAP/BI).
- 1+ years’ experience with Microsoft Azure (additional AWS and/or GCP experience is a plus).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite and Agile/Scrum project management tools (Jira, DevOps, etc.)
- Located in or near Raleigh, NC with the ability to work in a hybrid remote/office environment.
- Estimated 8 hours in the office per week to start.
