Description
Support the Programme Manager and the Client through the Pre-Construction.
Defining the projects which are assigned to a specific Tranche of Work.
Validating the Need Statements for each Project.
High Level Programme development.
Development of budget estimates.
Tranche Execution Plan development.
Prepare relevant governance documentation for both Parent Company Governance and Client's.
Coordinate close-out of governance actions and facilitate Draft Contract Documentation Reviews and feedback for updates required for execution.
Working as part of the Tranche Integrated Team and reporting to the Programme Manager, support the progression of the projects within a tranche or tranches through Pre-Construction.
Support the Integrated Team in Design & Procurement Management.
Support the Commercial, Estimating & Contract Management.
Chair and coordinate collaborative planning sessions with Integrated Team, Supply-chain, and other key stakeholders.
Manage the development of project and tranche level programmes throughout Pre-Construction.
Demonstrable Risk Reduction along with Risk and External Constraints Management.
Identify, plan, and manage site surveys and investigations that are required as part of design development & risk mitigation at the early stages of each project/tranche.
Co-ordination and management of supporting staff (such as ECI Manager/Site Supervision /MEICA Engineer/Graduate Engineer/Quantity Surveyor/Planner) in preparing for and undertaking site investigations & surveys, and that the required survey outputs are completed / presented int eh required format back to the relevant Integrated Team members.
Accountable for the development of relevant SHEQ documentation in line with CMDP & SWS Procedures & to ensure work is undertaken safely in accordance with Company Procedures, specifications, and good working practices. Furthermore, ensure that the relevant pre-start checks, reviews and governance meetings are conducted prior to commencing on-site activities.
Responsibilities
Previous experience in a similar role.
Good knowledge and understanding of the water industry and civil construction.
Qualified in a civil engineering discipline.
IT literate.
Excellent people and communication skills.
Ability to manage and prioritise a high volume of work that requires completion within tight timeframes to meet the demands of the contract.
Experienced in large scale projects including civil, mechanical, infrastructure and non-infrastructure type work.
High level of competence using MS Excel.
