Senior Project Manager/Account Manager – UK (remote position)

Description
· Manage the entire life cycle of translation projects from initial quoting/planning to delivery & invoicing in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
· Assist sales team by liaising with clients and prospective clients in Europe
· Brainstorm creative solutions to handle complex file types and projects
· Develop and submit timely and accurate quotes to clients
· Establish and manage project budgets
· Assemble teams of linguists based on project needs, and negotiate rates and schedule as needed.
· Manage linguists to ensure quality and adherence to timeline on all projects
· Liaise with clients at different stages of the project (quote delivery, confirmation of approval to proceed, linguist questions, delivery of completed project)
· Adhere to SOPs and QC guidelines to maintain quality standards
· Organize and prepare files for final delivery to our clients
· Ensure projects are completed and delivered to clients within the approved timeline and with utmost attention to quality
· Provide exceptional customer service during the project and beyond
Responsibilities
· Minimum 5 years of professional experience in translation and localization project management
· Located in the UK and available to work 9 am-5 pm local time zone. We ask that the candidate be flexible on working hours, as needed.
· Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills in English; proficiency in a second language is a plus
· University degree (preferably in linguistic/translation related studies or Computer Science)
· Proven multi-tasking skills, ability to work under strict deadlines
· Fast learner with the ability to pick up new skills and technologies
· Common sense with exceptional problem-solving and technical skills
· Good at interacting with people, ability to work within a team and by yourself
· Ability to work well with clients and linguists from different cultures and time zones
· Highly proficient with Microsoft Office tools and Trados Studio
· Experience with DTP and applications such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Framemaker and Photoshop
· Proven successful communication and interaction with clients
· Experience with TMS Plunet Business Manager preferred
· Experience with machine translation engines and preparing files for MT processing preferred
