Description

Work planning and monitoring to determine which activities are necessary in order to prioritise Transcreation work, select appropriate techniques and processes to manage Transcreation requests and constant assessment of progress

Gather, organise and synthesize large amounts of information to be translated from various sources to many various audiences across broad cross-functional internal and external organisational groups
-
Conducting (or give strong support) in work management and process meetings and communications documentation / content delivery

Convert (or assist in converting) business and customer communication content into high quality, accurate final translated output and provide constructive feedback to authors where appropriate

Work closely with local market operational and project teams to maintain a backlog according to campaign and project priorities, business value or ROI

Work with teams at local market, regional and global organisational levels to support implementation of a strategic Transcreation business model+

Effectively communicate requirements to stakeholders, managing conflicts, issues and changes in order to ensure that stakeholders and project team members remain in agreement on Transcreation content scope and ancilliary needs.

Work with local market stakeholders to address any concerns or work progress delays

Effectively identify and review Transcreation needs and problems/issues to ensure feasible solutions and processes are maintained.

Articulate technical features, detailed editing and reviewing acceptance criteria

Assist in communicating and documenting the current state of Transcreation business / effort within the local market to identify and recommend improvements for validation and efficiency of work output

Determine (or assist in determining) the effectiveness of proposed solutions including the identification of any associated risks, as well as the risk for not implementing the improvements
-
Assist in developing documentation including local procedural documents; instructions and templates to assist in delivery of learnings to the local Transcreation Team.

Perform and support Transcreation quality reviews (if applicable)

Providing Transcreation support to all functional workstreams, including Marketing, Digital, Human Resources and Internal Communications teams
Responsibilities
-
5-10+ years of translation work experience.
-
Experience in the Retail sector is a plus
-
Experience in Marketing subject matter preferred
-
Experience related to translations / transcreation platforms and processes essential
-
Experience working in multi-lingual projects, including stakeholders with varying levels of English language comfort is essential
-
Familiarity with large enterprise system work management processes,collaborative technologies and Translation tools preferred.

Basic knowledge of local cultural nuances in communication
-
Experience writing business documents of a broad range of internal and external audiences, formats and subject matter, including technical product specifications.

Ability to translate technical 'jargon' into all / key languages used at all levels of the organisation within the local market’s cultural scope and the ability to understand both.

Exceptional communication skills in the languages in scope

Working knowledge of document / artefact / content management disciplines and technologies.

Certification(s) are a plus.
