Language Specialist/Translator, Swedish-speaking (m/f/d) - Finland

Description

Translating medical and pharmaceutical documents and other text types
Modifying and editing and writing documents in accordance with local requirements
Coordinating translation services for internal and external customers and vendors
Calculating quotes for translation assignments and providing quotes to customers
Using a CAT tool
Proofreading, editing and revising translated materials

Responsibilities

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Swedish Translation, Linguistics, or similar field
Extensive experience working as a translator is not a necessity but would be taken as an advantage
Native in Swedish and fluent in Finnish and English
Superb verbal and written communication skills
Strong understanding of grammar and language
Highly developed attention to detail
Proficient user of word processing software (such as MS Word), and experience with CAT tools is an asset
Interest in medicine and translating texts in this field
Strong interpersonal skills
Adaptable to new information and practices
Strong time management skills
Ability to think quickly and work under pressure
Team player who is also capable of working independently
