Description
As a Nintendo of America Intern, you will actively contribute to meaningful projects, and gain valuable hands-on work experience with a leading company in the entertainment industry. During the program from June through August, your work experience will be enhanced with mentoring, networking opportunities and exposure to industry leaders from across the company! Whether you are in a technical or non-technical role, you will be a part of a team committed to putting smiles on faces of millions around the world.
Responsibilities
- Work with the HR team responsible for managing Nintendo’s Corporate Caring Program (giving and volunteering)
- Work with management and stakeholders to outline key elements and framework of a strategic community engagement
- Research and benchmark existing best practices for a new employee engagement program
- Learn the process of creating articles, testimonials, photos, and/or videos for our internal company employee site
- Assist with developing schedules, guidelines, and forms for existing projects
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
- 3.0+ GPA
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a graduation conferral date between May 2023 and June 2024
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Human Resources, Communication, Sociology, or related fields
- Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem-solving skills and effective communication.
- Experience with volunteerism- as a volunteer or organizer
- Comfortable working with underserved populations
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Able to work 40 hours a week throughout the course of the 11-week summer internship between June – September
