Within the Trimble Transport & Logistics group, the so-called Social Data solutions include software products processing Drivers fields activity to deliver reports and services. With the SOLID and LogicWay brands, we today have a great footprint in France, The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany

and serious ambitions to develop innovative solutions for the European market. Therefore, we’re looking for a dedicated European Business Developer, ideally based in the Lille area (France North), Ieper or Leuven area (Belgium).

Key Aspects Of Your Daily Work Are

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing business growth in Europe,
  • Support the Trimble T&L sales teams and Independent Resellers, with relevant information on products, participation to customers meetings, key users training and facilitation of support activities,
  • Manage the daily operations of the sales support function for your area: order processing, RFP response, data collection and reporting,
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of value proposition materials, such as product demonstration tools, customer facing product presentations and content for marketing collateral,
  • Manage business objectives and needs versus technical and operational constraints and adjudicate between internal stakeholder groups,
  • Work with broad cross-functional internal teams to anticipate bottlenecks, identify and resolve operational issues,
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth,
  • Participate to or implement promotional events to increase leads volume,
  • Collect and analyse market related information,
  • Maintain sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand per country,
  • You report to the General Manager of Trimble Social Data Solutions

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor education
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in B2B as sales or project manager
  • Excellent communication and negotiations skills
  • Ability to analyse and match partner needs with our solutions
  • You have an IT background which covers a wide range of different systems & architectures including Web/SaaS applications
  • Knowledge of the sales cycles and use of CRM software
  • Strong customer focused and a team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French is essential. German, Dutch or Spanish would be a plus
  • Experience in the Transport & Logistics or Payroll sectors is an advantage.
