Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or above in Graphic Design, Interaction Design or related.
• 5+ years of full time experience as a UI/UX designer in the digital world. 
• Demonstrable visual and UI design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Expertise in design basics including Typography, Color Theory, and Layout across different form factors.
• Familiar and understand common design guidelines like Apple’s HIG, Google Material Design, etc.
• Experience in creating a design system or visual guidelines of complex digital products
• Proficiency in experience with standard UI/UX tool sets like Sketch, Figma, Invision, Zeplin, Adobe suites, etc.
• Basic prototyping skills using tools like inVision, Marvel, Flinto, Framer, etc.
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS and the ability to work directly with front-end engineers.

Plus:

• Passion for languages with language skills in addition to required Mandarin and English
• ​Experience in High Tech, Software Development, Education Technology Industries
• Experience in companies with global / regional presence with multiple offices across different countries
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript and experience of direct collaboration with front-end engineers is a big plus
• Like other designers, we love Apple products. However, if you are an Android/Windows user and are familiar with the design principles of multiple platforms, that would be nicer.

• Ensure functional and visual consistency between various products on a wide range of platforms/devices.
• Define, maintain, expand, and adhere visual pattern libraries and style guide documentation.
• Design for modularity, adaptive framework, accessibility, and product expansion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members and users throughout the design phase to address iterative feedback and to ensure optimal design execution.
• Stay up-to-date with UI design trends and best practices.
• Present, communicate and educate fellow UI and UX designers, as well as front-end engineers to make sure everyone understands and is following the visual guidelines.
