The Marketing team is the key driver of italki’s business. Our campaigns span through online channels (social media, content, digital ads, email, blogs, publications, affiliate networks, public relations, etc). Being an internet-based business focused on a global market, it is essential that we keep growing and improving our marketing strategy by channeling fresh, innovative ideas and putting them into action.
We are looking for a dynamic, action-driven individual with a strong balance of both analytical and communication skills. Working from Shanghai, the Integrated Marketing Manager will focus on multiple facets of italki’s acquisition channels in the regional markets. The incumbent will be working closely with the Head of Integrated Marketing on developing the strategy and carrying out the execution.
Responsibilities:
Closely work with product, regional managers to develop marketing strategy plans, which should be able to build up best-in-class digital experience to engage with end customer;
Be able to work closely with regional offices understand their business plan and execute the marketing operation and promotion.
Good at content marketing and be able to operate with PR/media agency independently and work with the content team to plan and provide high-quality and highly communicable content for users, improve the brand awareness, brand preference, and stickiness in the target customer group;
Be responsible for planning and implementing the regular data tracking and maintenance, cooperate with insight marketer to dig out customer insight and further improve owned media tactics;
Be good at user behavior and user portraits data analysis to realize accurate marketing;
Fully understand user journey map, pain point, touchpoint,s and key influencers to execute the owned media plan, combined with data feedback to further optimize owned plan;
Develop integrated marketing plans for campaigns, working in close partnership with cross-functional teams and marketing partners.
Utilize quantitative and qualitative insights to influence marketing strategy, positioning, and funnel optimization.
Bring the campaigns to life in partnership with marketing channel strategists across paid, earned, owned, and shared channels.
Collaborate with the Media and Data teams on creative optimization across channels.
Become a specialist on italki’s brand, products, and target customer.
Build and deliver clear and compelling presentations to senior partners.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or Education related
5+ years of experience in marketing roles with brand/agency
You’re strategic and tactical - and gain stakeholder advocacy through qualitative and quantitative data
Fluent in English and a second language
Experience in fast-changing environments
Strong project management skills
A deep understanding and passion for language learning
Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment
Plus
Passion for languages with language skills in addition to required English
Experience in high tech, software development, education technology industries
Experience in growing and scaling company growth or start-up team experience
Experience in companies with global/regional presence with multiple offices across different countries
