We are now looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to jump-start our Berling team. You will be reporting to the EU Sales Director, and working closely with our international team to deliver sales growth and customer satisfaction.

 

As a Sales Manager, you will introduce our industry-leading brand licensing SaaS software to companies throughout the licensing industry, for example, TV, games, animation, and sports. You will develop your pipeline and manage Sales Development Representatives. This is a very hands-on position and requires expertise in SaaS sales tactics.

 

This is a mid-to-senior level role and your focus will be on negotiating and closing deals and securing the prospect moving on to the trial period as well as managing the SDR's to be highly successful to feed the pipe to both you and the Sales Director.

 

This is a full-time position, based in Berlin, Germany. The position will start as remote and become office-based once we open our Berlin office (once the Covid situation eases).

 

Skills to succeed:

  • Proven experience in SaaS sales, you have the skills and the hunter-like attitude to close deals
  • Professional / Native level proficiency in one or more of the European languages like German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, or Italian
  • Fluency in English language (written and spoken)
  • Experience in using Salesforce
  • Hands-on attitude
  • Abilities to mentor junior team members in sales tactics and relationship building
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • Capability to think outside of the box and a willingness to go that extra mile for the client
  • Willingness to broaden your knowledge and network in the licensing industry, and learn all about our product

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Meet and execute revenue targets by negotiating and closing deals
  • Manage the Sales Development Representatives by providing them support and mentoring
  • Attend to outbound sales activities like industry expo attendance, cold calling, in-person and video conference meetings and demo presentations
